Hadi El-Farr
Hadi El-Farr is an academic, professional, and consultant in the field of Human Resource Management (HRM) with extensive international and multi-industry experience. Currently, he holds two positions at the School of Management and Labor Relations at Rutgers University: Associate Teaching Professor of HRM and Director of the online Master of HRM program, which he established in the fall of 2019. Hadi earned a Ph.D. in Business and Economics, specializing in HRM, from the University of Leeds in the United Kingdom. He also holds an MBA from the Lebanese American University and a BBA from the American University of Beirut. Additionally, he has several professional certifications in HRM, teaching, and academic leadership. His research primarily focuses on HRM and knowledge management. He has examined how HRM practices influence knowledge management activities and the impact of artificial intelligence on HRM. Recently, Hadi has focused on employee turnover, specifically examining the factors that contribute to turnover intentions. His work has resulted in numerous journal articles, book chapters, edited books, and conference papers. Many of his academic contributions have been presented to professional audiences through his roles as a keynote speaker, panelist, and executive & professional trainer, ensuring that his research remains connected to practical applications. Hadi serves on several editorial boards for various journals, actively reviews article submissions, acts as editor-in-chief for multiple publications, and evaluates numerous books and book proposals for publishers. Hadi's teaching experience at both graduate and undergraduate levels includes topics such as Strategic HRM, Staffing, Organizational Strategy, Organizational Behavior, and International HRM. Before transitioning into academia, he gained valuable experience working in HR and operations roles across various countries and industries.
