Amit Ranjan
Dr. Amit Ranjan is an Associate Professor at the Dr. D. Y. Patil Biotechnology and Bioinformatics Institute, Dr. D. Y. Patil Vidyapeeth (DPU), Pune, India. He has over 19 years of combined teaching and research experience in molecular biology and biotechnology. He earned his M.Sc. from Tezpur University and his Ph.D. from the Advanced Centre for Treatment, Research and Education in Cancer (ACTREC), Tata Memorial Centre, HBNI, Mumbai. Dr. Ranjan has qualified for several national competitive examinations, including NET, GATE, and BET. He is a recipient of a travel award and serves as an Innovation Ambassador under the Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell (MIC). His research focuses on the role of glycans in cancer metastasis. He has published 20+ articles in Scopus-indexed journals and contributed four book chapters.
