Farizah Mohd Hairi
Dr. Farizah Mohd Hairi is an Associate Professor and Public Health Medicine Specialist at Universiti Malaya. She led the university’s Tobacco-Free Campus Policy Task Force in 2022 and has served on national advisory bodies, including the Technical Working Group for Tobacco Control. Her contributions to the National Health and Morbidity Surveys span over two decades. Internationally, she is a Fellow of the WHO Collaborating Centre for Tobacco Control in Hong Kong and the WHO Health Services Management Programme in Australia. She has received multiple Excellence Service Awards and was honoured by HRH Sultan Salahudin Abdul Aziz Shah. Her recent work focuses on cessation strategies, workplace culture, and digital health innovations in tobacco control.
