Ingrid Muenstermann
Ingrid Muenstermann was born in Hamburg, Germany, and made her home in South Australia in 1973. For many years, she worked as a secretary across different medical fields in Germany and Australia, but discovered the rewards of becoming an academic after earning a Ph.D. in Social Sciences. She is a sociologist at heart and has been employed at Flinders University in South Australia, where she teaches health sociology. Ingrid Muenstermann has a special interest in the increasingly unequal distribution of wealth, global people’s movements and settlement processes, social responsibility, aging, and health and healthcare.
